Passed down from the JetSpeed line to the FT Ghost hockey stick is the hybrid kick point, that we feel plays similar to a mid-kick. This flex point is designed to create a power hinge effect, allowing you to load the stick using a blend of speed and response. By blending the technologies usually associated with mid and low kick sticks, the FT Ghost is engineered for players with a shoot-first mentality.
For the shaft, CCM includes their new Nanolite Shield technology, which was first introduced in the JetSpeed FT6 Pro stick. This reengineered shaft design is optimized with thicker carbon fiber layers that protect an ultra-light core, allowing for an impressive weight reduction. Sigma STP is also found in the shaft, which is a high-performance spread tow fabric featuring a new weaving process that provides strength and resilience.
CCM optimizes the hybrid kick-point design in this stick by using Skeleton+ Technology and the all-new “C” Shaft Geometry. Skeleton+ is designed to specifically improve the hosel and taper strength for a much more durable stick. The shaft geometry includes rounded corners from the end of the stick to the blade. This is different from any other CCM stick, which usually features concave sidewalls. The “C” shape will feel comfortable in your hands and bring a ton of performance to your game.
For grip, the FT Ghost uses FT microfeel, which is a raised grip on the bottom edges of the shaft’s mid-section to ensure perfect control.
CCM has also upgraded the blade to give you the softest blade ever offered. The X-Soft Pro Blade with Sigma STP carbon weave material will improve puck feel and increase shot power without sacrificing strength.
