Players who want an elite stick to help take their game to the next level will love what the new top-of-the-line Vapor model has to offer. Low-kick point for the ultimate quick release XE Taper Technology for improved stability Asymmetrical TeXtreme shaft construction for elite performance Bauer enhances the Vapor Hyperlite stick by taking what made the Flylite stick so successful and adding some new features and technologies for the best Vapor feel ever brought to market. The Vapor line is comprised of low-kick point sticks, built for players who take quick-motion shots, mostly shoot close to the net, and prefer release speed over power. One of the new features is the weight of the stick. Bauer was able to reduce the Senior stick weight by 5 grams while focusing on improving the balance point and overall feel of the stick. Bauer also improved the weight or balance across all segments, with the 55 & 65 flex coming in at 15 grams lighter vs the Flylite and the 40-flex coming in at 28 grams lighter. The XE taper, which is passed down from the Flylite is a taper design that uses a unique elliptical geometry with a thinner construction and more rounded edges. These features help to decrease the weight of the stick while increasing your release speed. This design also helps stabilize the blade when taking one-timers or hard shots. Moving up the stick, Bauer includes their Asymmetrical TeXtreme shaft technology. This trusted material is lightweight and responsive with a more rectangular shape allowing energy to move fluidly down the stick when shooting. This technology also offers you a balanced feel for high performance. The DuraFlex resin system increases the entire shaft’s durability and flexural strength. With these benefits, you can lean heavily into shots for a balanced and powerful feel to complement your quick release. The Vapor Hyperlite features Advanced Carbon Layering, or ACL technology, in both the shaft and blade. By using this high-end material throughout the stick, Bauer ensures the blade and shaft construction are both built to provide a lightweight and balanced feel. ACL works by using stronger, thinner internal carbon fiber layers, increasing the strength of the stick without adding unwanted weight. Another improvement to the blade in the Hyperlite stick is the HyperCore Blade Core with carbon fiber which helps to improve release speed and durability by 20%. Bauer combines some of their most trusted features with new, high-end technologies to offer an elite-level stick built for the pros. The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite is a great option for any player who loved the Flylite but is looking for something lighter, quicker, stronger and with better feel.
