The CCM Ribcor Trigger 6 hockey stick is designed to give you a quick release, with some high-end technologies to help improve your overall on-ice performance. Optimized low-kick point for a faster release. Ergonomic shaft design for enhanced comfort and control. Ascent Blade 2 with peel-ply for better accuracy. Sigmatex blade used to reduce weight without sacrificing durability. Pure Carbon shaft to reduce weight. When choosing a new stick, it is important to place an initial focus on kick point. Finding the kick point that matches your style of play will help enhance your shooting and have a positive impact on your on-ice performance. If you’re unsure which kick point is best for you, or you’re looking for an accurate assessment, visit your local Pure Hockey store. CCM optimizes the low-kick point design in the Trigger 6 stick by using Skeleton+ Technology and Ergonomic Shaft Geometry. Skeleton+ is designed to specifically improve the hosel and taper strength for a much more reliable stick. For the Ergonomic Shaft CCM uses a different design in each section - the top-shaft has a rounded concave shape for increased comfort and control; the mid-shaft has a rounded convex back side combined with a square-cornered concave front for maximum dexterity; and the low-shaft has a concave front and rounded concave back, combining to offer a quick release and maximum accuracy. For the stick material, CCM includes Pure Carbon Technology throughout the shaft making the stick both light and durable, while the blade is constructed with Sigmatex spread tow. This high-performance spread tow fabric features an innovative weaving process that provides lightweight strength and resilience, giving you the feel you want and the structural strength you need from a top-end stick. The Trigger 6 features CCM’s Ascent Blade 2 with peel-ply giving it an optimized stiffness profile that transitions seamlessly from softer in the heel to extra stiff in the toe. This allows for heightened puck feel and quicker releases. At 415g (Senior), the Trigger 6 stick is built to keep up with the speed of today’s game, and is an excellent option for the players looking for some top of the line technologies but at a lower price point.

The CCM Ribcor Trigger 6 hockey stick carries on the legacy of the Ribcor line, known for its focus on quick-release shots. This stick targets offensive players, particularly those who favor speedy wrist shots and puck handling maneuvers. A key selling point of the Trigger 6 is the low kick point design, which allows players to load energy efficiently in the lower shaft portion for powerful and effortless releases. CCM introduces Skeleton+ technology in this iteration, which aims to improve the stick's durability and consistency compared to previous models. The Ribcor Trigger 6 also features a pure carbon shaft for a lightweight feel and an Ascent Blade 2 with peel-ply for better shot accuracy.

The Trigger 6 features a low kick point design, which loads energy in the shaft and allows for a quicker release on shots. This is good for forwards who want to get their shots off quickly and surprise the goalie. Also, the Ribcor technology used in the stick's design enhances grip and control, which is helpful for players who like to dangle and make plays with the puck in tight spaces.
