Brand: Bauer Model: AG5NT / AGENT Condition: New Flex: 70 Hand: Right Curve: P92 Length: 60" Flex Profile: Low kick Bauer enhances the AG5NT stick by taking what makes the Vapor line so successful and adding some incredible features and technologies for the lightest stick ever brought to market. The AG5NT is comprised of a low-kick point, built for players who take quick-motion shots, mostly shoot close to the net, and prefer release speed over power. The biggest upgrade in this stick is the use of the element Boron. This material has never been used in a hockey stick before. What makes boron so unique for a hockey stick is that it has two times the compression strength and two times the stiffness compared to the best carbon fiber in the world. In addition, Bauer has the exclusive partnership to be able to take boron, which comes in a powder form, and create it into a fiber, so you can actually utilize it in a hockey stick. When you have two times the compression strength and two times the stiffness, Bauer needed to strategically place this material within the stick to reduce the weight without doing anything to the durability of the product. The Boron fibers are fused with high-grade carbon fiber to create that strength. You're going to be able to lean into this stick with those shots, and that compression strength is going to allow you to load those shots and release it faster than ever before. The added stiffness in the stick does not refer to the flex, it means that a stronger material is being used. Boron equals the lightest stick in the history of hockey, plus the quickest release Bauer has ever brought to market. The XE taper, which is passed down from the Vapor line is a taper design that uses a unique elliptical geometry with a thinner construction and more rounded edges. These features help to decrease the weight of the stick while increasing your release speed. This design also helps stabilize the blade when taking one-timers or hard shots. The DuraFlex resin system that is found throughout the stick increases the entire shaft’s durability and flexural strength. With these benefits, you can lean heavily into shots for a balanced and powerful feel to complement your quick release. Inside the shaft is Bauer’s optimized carbon layering, which includes Boron for the added durability. Moving down the stick, Bauer uses Blade Core technology in the blade, which is a dual carbon bridge to help increase blade recoil and pop with every touch of the puck. The Bauer AG5NT stick combines some of Bauer's most trusted features with new high-end technologies to offer an elite level stick for players who love the Hyperlite but are looking for something lighter, quicker and stronger with unmatched feel.

Players who prioritize a lightweight stick with a lightning-fast release.

Bauer's AG5NT hockey stick represents a major shift in their lineup, focusing on lightweight construction and quick release. Utilizing Boron, an ultra-stiff and lightweight material throughout the shaft, the AG5NT is the lightest Bauer stick ever and delivers the fastest release for powerful, accurate shots. Its Monocomp one-piece construction ensures a consistent flex profile, while the low kick point maximizes energy transfer during shots.

The Ag5nt is a high-end, lightweight stick with a quick release. It's made with a new material called BORON, which is said to be lighter and stronger than carbon fiber. If you're a player who relies on a lot of slap shots, you should choose a stick with a higher flex rating. The lower flex rating of the Ag5nt is better for players focusing on quick releases and dekes.
