Using the previous lines’ success as a foundation, CCM now offers the Super Tacks 2.0, which uses new construction material and improved kickpoint to redefine what performance truly means. CCM has partnered with Sigmatex, a global leader in performance composite fiber, to increase the overall performance of the stick. The ultra-lightweight composite material does not wrinkle during the production and assembly process, which allows it to maintain its rigid integrity and stay incredibly strong. Inside the shaft, the “slash zone” is reinforced with bumper technology, to help protect from various traumas the stick might endure during play. The Super Tacks 2.0 features a responsive, dual flex profile. This offers a mid kickpoint with two optimized loading zones – one for wrist shots and one for slap shots. The bottom of the stick’s taper is slightly softer, which contributes to the overall responsive feel of the stick. Connecting the player to the puck, CCM’s ACU2 blade also features Sigmatex composite. This stiffens the blade, which works to improve shot accuracy and consistency.
