New Upgrades: Hyp2core FT AI, Twitch Taper Kick Point: Low Taper Technology: Twitch Shaft Material: ACL 2.0, Textreme, Monocomp Blade Construction: Hyp2core with Aluminum, ACL 2.0 Shaft Shape: Rounded Corners When buying a new hockey stick, it’s important to consider several key factors to find the right fit for your skill level and playing style. One of the most important is the kick-point, which can significantly impact your shot and on-ice performance. If you're unsure which kick-point is right for you, or want a personalized recommendation, stop by your local Pure Hockey for expert guidance. The first thing you'll notice about this year’s top Vapor stick is its bold new look. Featuring a striking nitrogen blue graphic, it breaks away from the classic red, ensuring you stand out on the ice before the puck even drops. Originally part of the Innovation Series, the Twitch Taper is now integrated into the Vapor line—an exclusive taper design that begins closer to your bottom hand, enabling quicker shot loading and faster recoil than any previous Vapor stick. The shaft features Advanced Carbon Layering 2.0 to help reduce weight, giving players the feel and control needed for precise puck handling. It also incorporates Asymmetrical TeXtreme technology—a trusted, lightweight, and responsive material that delivers a more balanced feel for elite-level performance. To enhance balance and pop, the blade has been upgraded with Hyp2core, ACL 2.0, and a lightweight aluminum insert. ACL 2.0 uses stronger, thinner layers of internal carbon fiber to optimize performance, while the strategically placed aluminum sheet helps reduce overall weight without compromising strength or responsiveness—giving you a quick, reliable release every time you hit the ice. Bauer combines some of their most trusted features with new, high-end technologies to offer an elite-level stick built for the pros. If you are looking for a stick that is engineered to super charge your shot with an effortless release, this is a great option.
