Depending on where the shooter's lower hand sits as they take a shot, the FT2 will react differently. For a big slap shot or one-timer, the hand is placed lower and the stick responds by maximizing energy loading for maximum shot power. When a player needs to get the puck off of the blade as soon as possible, their bottom hand tends to sit higher on the stick, the FT2 then prioritizes speeding up the shot release by making the stick flex lower towards the blade.
