The Nexus Tracer stick is replacing the Nexus Sync as Bauer’s elite top price point stick. There is a 5g reduction in weight that Bauer was able to accomplish by strategically placing the carbon fiber layers and using thinner, more premium material on the interior of the stick. These layers are more strategically stacked making the stick lighter without sacrificing any durability. The shaft of this stick is crafted with ultra-lightweight carbon fiber, strategically layered to reduce weight while offering enhanced strength through Bauer’s ER Spine technology. This technology is a 5-sided shape that contours the hands for smoother stickhandling and easier stick flex while shooting. Throughout the stick you’ll find Connectech Technology and Asymmetrical TeXtreme technology. Connectech is a responsive rubber layer between the blade that will flow through the entire shaft of the stick. This is designed to maximize stick-to-player feel. Additionally, the Monocomp one-piece technology provides consistency and excellent strength because the molding process helps reduce defects in the shaft wall construction. Along with Connectech in the blade, Bauer included ACL 2.0 and Textreme. ACL 2.0 is a lightweight carbon fiber that is strategically layered to reduce weight and offer increased strength. Textreme is an advanced material that has been improved to increase impact durability by reinforcing key areas.
