Passed down from the previous Project X is the PLD technology in the shaft that optimizes 25 layers of carbon fiber and is designed with an advanced laminate construction to reduce overall weight without impacting durability. The laminate construction optimizes fiber angles and provides both improved stiffness and impact strength. The shaft shape has square corners with double concave for better feel. Capping off the features in the shaft is the Axenic technology, which creates a true one-piece stick build. This seamless build combines a compression-molded shaft into the blade.
