CCM made key upgrades to the Super Tacks AS1 skate to offer more comfort and protection. The overall height of the boot has been increased by 5mm to ensure a better wrap around the high ankle all while providing better comfort when skating. The increased size of the comfort pads at the top of the skate will relieve the pressure top players put on the high ankle area when getting over on their edges. Upgraded stitching in the eyelets means the skate will provide better durability throughout their usage. Super Tacks AS1 skates now feature a sublimated graphics package with removed stitching, thus making the boot lighter than models prior. CCM blade holders removed.
