These Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 hockey skates in size 5 were purchased new toward the end of the 2025/26 season, with about three months of play remaining. They were used for the final three months of that season plus an additional month during spring, resulting in light overall wear. The skates remain in good condition with plenty of blade life left. The Fit 2 system offers a balanced fit for intermediate players, providing solid support and comfort. I am selling them only because my son has outgrown this size.

There is not as much difference between the HyperLite and the HyperLite 2 as there was between the Hyperlite and the 2x Pro, but the 2 is really just a lighter skate. More comfort features have been added also, and there is a new locking mechanism. The HyperLite 2 still offers the quick release, but it's a different upgraded style, which makes it easier to switch the steel in and out. The holder itself is different and extremely lightweight.
