Hyperlite 2 Skate Review
The skates are extremely comfortable. I feel like I can get the same tightness of the skates with ankle mobility with the eyelet system. I have the old AXP2 tongues on them which are more rigid than the stock tongues, and they still feel great.
Hyperlite 2 skates
Great skates. Light weight, responsive. Not as much protection as True skates, but that's the trade off for weight.
Built For Explosive Speed
They are awesome, especially for speed, quickness and overall responsiveness. They’re extremely lightweight, especially when accelerating, changing direction, and getting on my edges. The boot gives great support while still allowing enough mobility to feel quick and explosive. Best skates I’ve used
Hyperlite 2 Skates
These skates were phenomenal. Upgraded from supreme m5 pro skates, the hyperlite 2 was signifigantly lighter and had much more responsiveness to the ice than past skates i've worn. Definitely worth paying the extra $ for.
Great Skate!
These skates are very versatile and flexible. The comfort is great and the look is even better. Super light with great chassis that are strong. Have shown no signs of wear and tear, even after taking a couple pucks to the boot.

Progression of the Hyperlite 2
The popular Hyperlite model debuted in 2021 and Bauer continues to build on the design and high-preforming construction of the Vaper. The Hyperlite 2 includes updated features like the PowerFly holder and Aerolite 2.0 Tongue, improved eyelets, and better materials (carbon composite) in the outsole.

| As the name suggests, they're incredibly light! The one-piece boot and PowerFly holder really make a difference. They feel very agile and responsive on the ice. |

| There's no getting around it, these skates are expensive. They're definitely an investment. |
| A huge issue for me is lacing up because there are NO metal eyelets for the laces. So to tighten, l have to pull on the laces sideways (if l pull straight up there's a good chance the laces will rip through the carbon fiber) making it difficult to get a good grip. |

There is not as much difference between the HyperLite and the HyperLite 2 as there was between the Hyperlite and the 2x Pro, but the 2 is really just a lighter skate. More comfort features have been added also, and there is a new locking mechanism. The HyperLite 2 still offers the quick release, but it's a different upgraded style, which makes it easier to switch the steel in and out. The holder itself is different and extremely lightweight.
