Basically new skates with maybe 6 on-ice sessions and no beer league games. Boiled down to these or the Hyperlite 2's and while I preferred the performance of the XF, I went for the better fit of the Hyperlite. I'm on the ice 5 days a week between coaching and beer league so I couldn't sacrifice the better fit to my foot shape.
