That is, a firmly constructed skate that helps generate power in their strides and T-pushes. The boot is constructed of a power form textured composite which is a high end, layer-formed boot frame with goalie specific reinforcements. This gives goalies excellent side to side power transfer capabilites for their strides and T-pushes with elite level support and comfort. The CCM Tacks goal skate also features an asymmetric flex stance contour. The boot collar is shaped and molded to allow the goalie to flex deeper into the stance and benefit from extremly quick recovery to stand back up. A multi-layer D30 tongue with was added to to the Tacks goal skate for 2016. This feature gives goalies superior protection from a thick felt layer, D30 smartform, and lace-bite protection tongue.
