The tapered flex core of the X700 utilizes lightweight and durable high-density foam that removes weight while improving responsiveness, agility, and rebound control. Unlike the Supreme Line, the X700 Leg Pad features a new Tuned Fit Strapping system that gives goalies a chance to finely tune the pad to their liking. The calf wrap boasts a y-style, 2" strap for the first layer and a standard 2" elastic strap for the outer layer. The knee uses a similar 2" elastic strap that is easily adjusted underneath the knee landing plus can attach above or below the knee. Aside from the extensive customization, the all-elastic strapping provides significant weight savings and improved pad roll for better ice seal. Internally, the X700's leg channel utilizes a soft yet durable nash that provides pro-level feel and abrasion-resistance. The lower portion of the calf wrap features a moisture-wicking nylon that helps to keep goalies as dry as possible. The face of the pad is constructed of a quality synthetic leather with screen-printed graphics that give the X700 the look and feel goalies expect out of high-end pads."
