The Koho Revolution 589 Vintage Pro goal pad is a continuation of the legendary Koho look with a modern Lefevre design. Designed in conjunction with Jonas Hiller; the 589 Pro pad features a brand new angled leg channel with a tight fit at the boot; tapered to a wide fit at the knee. This creates exceptional pad control from the skate while still allowing for full rotation and mobility of the pad while in butterfly. The open knee lock design aids in rotation and ensuring a tight seal to the ice every time. The soft flex boot of the pad adds additional control by the goalie’s foot by allowing a wider range of motion and a better preload on cross-crease pushes. The 589 Pro pad come stock with a single internal and single external straight angle break for maximum coverage while in butterfly. Other features include an adjustable; angled strapping system for a perfect seal to the ice as well as a bindingless knee landing area for added durability. In comparison to the Koho Revolution 587 goal pad; the 589 Pro will feature pro level construction and internal foams paired with a Clarino synthetic leather outer. Additionally; the 589 Pro will include upgraded leather straps at the calf.
