Succeeding the 2X Pro line, the Hyperlite series focuses on lightweight construction for enhanced agility and quicker reactions. It signifies a new era in goalie pad design, prioritizing mobility over bulk. Although it was the top-of-the-line at its launch, Bauer has since released the Hyperlite 2 and Ultrasonic line as their current flagship goalie equipment.

Just like with the Ultrasonic, how it has an integrated knee block to the core (which looks like a book and is attached to the inside of the pad), they made the same thing for the Hyperlite, but a little bit softer and a little bit more forgiving, this design is known as the Vapor Stabiliflex.
