Full set of Bauer Mach goalie equipment. Used for a full season by me and preseason by OHL Firebirds Goalie Nathaniel Day. Leg pads in great condition, Velcro still sticky as ever, and sliding surface clean and slippery. Glove closes perfectly and no holes. Padding in palm still good after taking shots from pro’s and junior Players. Blocker is in perfect condition, no holes in the palm and it has the best pop out of any blocker I’ve owned. Perfect set for:
Goalies who seek both the freedom to move and the confidence to take a hit.
Flexibility
Slideability
Durability

Following the success of the popular Ultrasonic line, the Bauer Mach goalie full set sheds weight and introduces new innovations aimed at the competitive goalie. The Mach utilizes a one-piece thermoformed shin and boot construction, which reduces weight while maintaining durability and a clean, modern aesthetic. Internally, the Mach boasts a flexible core that allows for a powerful push when needed and enhances the close-fitting feel that today's goalies crave. This set focuses on a balanced blend of mobility and power. It’s the perfect set for the well-rounded goalie who utilizes a combination of butterfly and traditional techniques.

The Mach took what was on the Ultrasonic ( an integrated knee, a very flat face, predictable rebounds, and a simplified strapping system) and then also added an internal calf bracket to give a lot more support underneath the leg. Basically, the internal Stabilislide knee block was added into the calf providing the same support. So the Mach is known for having a great seal and awesome rebounds. It also has an excellent slide and a very square butterfly. The only potential downside to the Mach is because of the extra internal calf bracket, the pads are too square and supportive and the feedback I’ve heard is, "My body hurts; I can't use these."
