This set gets compliments everywhere I skate with it. The leg pads are overall in great shape and have tons of use left in them. Waxed Skate lace toe ties. All straps and buckles are in great shape. I actually really love these things as they slide really well and are great for rebound control, but they are WAY too large on me. For reference, my ATK is 17.5”, skate size 11. The knee blocks are about 2-3 inches too tall, so I’d say these fit close to a 36+1 Brian’s or 36+1.5 Warrior leg pad. The lower parts of the knee blocks show some wear both on the inside and the outside. I’ve taken care of one of those issues on the inner part of one pad with some Gorilla tape, and it is holding up perfectly. I am happy to do the same on the other one before shipping if you’d like. One of the boot straps has a tendency to come out of the pocket, but that was likely due to me trying all sorts of strapping methods to get these things to fit properly. I’ve just used a bit of cloth hockey tape to keep that strap in place and it has been perfectly fine since then. Onto the blocker and glove, which are even more reasons I wish these leg pads fit me… Absolutely love both of these things. The blocker is in really good condition. When I got the set, I had to sew the seam of the middle finger, but it has held up great over about 15 uses. You should be able to see this repair if you zoom right in on the photo of the palm. You’ll notice that the rest of the palm is in great condition with very little wear at all. Taking pucks off of this blocker feels like absolutely nothing, as the padding on the top of your hand inside the blocker is extremely soft and the blocker is so solid. The glove is also in excellent condition, and is an absolute tank when taking pucks off the palm. It has some serious padding in the pocket, so you likely won’t feel any stingers. Super deep pocket lace with floating T setup. Once you get used to the glove, it vacuums pucks right out of the air. Closure is not the easiest, likely because of all the padding the glove has in the palm, but I haven’t really had any issues catching pucks with it even thought it’s a bit tough to snap shut. The lower nylon lacing on the outside edge of the glove could eventually use replacing, but for now it’s just fine and has tons of life left. The blocker and glove do have a little smell to them, but I really haven’t tried to clean them up. I’m sure a little TLC and they would be much better. It hasn’t been bad enough to stop me using them 3 nights per week!
