Pro-Stock Vaughn V6 2200 Pro Chest Protector Vaughn VP 2200 Chest & Arm Protector is an all new design that uses advanced materials and a unique design to realize an 18% overall weight savings, while keeping the same flexibility, comfort and protection that you've come to expect from Vaughn. The chest pad is constructed with thinner ultra high-density foam segments that cover carbon fiber plates to reduce weight and increase protection. Additionally, layers of Kevlar ballistic material with both protective and cushioning foams are inside the core of the chest pad to reduce impact penetration. A large sternum plate made of foam and carbon fiber inserts provides a sturdy second layer of protection in this highly sensitive area. The sides of the chest pad have been extended to provide better wrap around coverage, and a semented belly flap allows the goalie to bend forward easily in his/her stance.
