Cat 9 Connect Composite USSSA -8 29” pastime edition. Great bat for youth kids in USSSA, swings very balanced but the -8 adds some weight for extra pop. This bat is extremely durable, used for 2 full seasons and is still in good condition. The barrel is free of any spider webs or cracks. The Cat 9 was designed without any internal damper rings creating a huge sweet spot and no worry on barrel rattles. We added a flare to the knob for more comfort and a thicker lizard skin grip. Used from 10U-11U for a smaller kid, swings easy.

Perfect bat for:
Players who see a lot of games, high pitch speeds, and who don’t mind a barrel-heavy bat.

The Marucci CAT 9 Composite bat is a two-piece composite bat found in USSSA, USA, and BBCOR. Unlike its alloy counterparts within the CAT series, the CAT 9 Composite provides a massive barrel and balanced swing. The connection piece helps absorb mishit balls’ sting and is identical to the one used on the BBCOR CAT 8 Connect.

The CAT9 Composite comes in two designs across two generations. The first, released in 2021, is gray, black, and red. And then it came out in red, white, blue, and gray. The first model was a more powerful, higher-performing bat. It has more exit velocity and is a hotter bat than the 2nd gen. Very durable, with very little breakage. Marucci's, across the board, have been good bats in terms of quality; they seem to last. Whether you're a power hitter or a small kid, the CAT9 Composite does very well.
