Marucci 2-piece composite have been know to take a bit to break in. But once broken in, they match many other top two-piece composites in terms of pop, but last much longer than other popular two-piece bats like the CF or Zoa. This one is broken in and ready to mash with fresh a rewrap of lizard skins grip tape. PLEASE NOTE: This bat has a glue rattle but appears to be structurally sound. No wobbles, no webbing, strong connection, and the bat feels as solid and strong as it always has. Pasted the specs from other listings for the same bat below This item is used but it is in good working condition. It has markings or blemishes consistent with frequent use but does not show any signs of abuse. There is plenty of life left in this one! The Marucci CAT 9 Composite bat is a two-piece composite bat found in USSSA, USA, and BBCOR. Unlike its alloy counterparts within the CAT series, the CAT 9 Composite provides a massive barrel and balanced swing. The connection piece helps absorb mishit balls’ sting and is identical to the one used on the BBCOR CAT 8 Connect.

The CAT9 Composite comes in two designs across two generations. The first, released in 2021, is gray, black, and red. And then it came out in red, white, blue, and gray. The first model was a more powerful, higher-performing bat. It has more exit velocity and is a hotter bat than the 2nd gen. Very durable, with very little breakage. Marucci's, across the board, have been good bats in terms of quality; they seem to last. Whether you're a power hitter or a small kid, the CAT9 Composite does very well.
