Used Marucci Cat 9 composite. This bat was purchased brand new and broken in per Marucci recommendations. This bat is in excellent condition and has no rattles or cracks. It is missing the 31" tag on the end of the handle and has the usual scuffs and rash but performs as new. This bat has very little use because it was simply too heavy for my son. By the time he could swing it, they had moved up to BBCOR at 13u. This bat is very end-loaded and swings heavy. If your son can get this thing around it is a HR waiting to happen. This would also be a good training bat, my son says it swings heavier than his 31" atlas BBCOR.

Perfect bat for:
Players who see a lot of games, high pitch speeds, and who don’t mind a barrel-heavy bat.

The Marucci CAT 9 Composite bat is a two-piece composite bat found in USSSA, USA, and BBCOR. Unlike its alloy counterparts within the CAT series, the CAT 9 Composite provides a massive barrel and balanced swing. The connection piece helps absorb mishit balls’ sting and is identical to the one used on the BBCOR CAT 8 Connect.

The CAT9 Composite comes in two designs across two generations. The first, released in 2021, is gray, black, and red. And then it came out in red, white, blue, and gray. The first model was a more powerful, higher-performing bat. It has more exit velocity and is a hotter bat than the 2nd gen. Very durable, with very little breakage. Marucci's, across the board, have been good bats in terms of quality; they seem to last. Whether you're a power hitter or a small kid, the CAT9 Composite does very well.
