The Marucci CAT X Connect Baseball Bat, available in both BBCOR and USSSA versions, is a two-piece hybrid design. It combines a AZR alloy barrel with a stiff S-40 composite handle for the best of both worlds. The CAT X Connect's Ring-Free barrel boasts a large sweet spot for consistent power on contact, while the S-40 handle (which is 10 times stiffer than previous composite handles) allows for faster energy transfer to the ball.
