This is a great entry level USSSA bat or a good “batting cage” bat for travel ball kids. My son has outgrown it so I’m selling for cheap.
The Marucci CAT 9 Connect is an evolution within the Marucci CAT series, specifically designed to cater to hitters who prefer a slightly end-loaded feel and the additional power that comes with a two-piece bat construction. This model integrates Marucci’s latest technology and combines a responsive, multi-stage-treated AZR alloy barrel with a carbon composite handle for a massive sweet spot. This stiffer connection minimizes vibration and maximizes power on contact. The CAT9 Connect boasts an end-loaded swing weight, ideal for generating bat speed and crushing pitches.
The CAT9 Connect is going to be in the same market as the Select Power, The Goods, and the Voodoo. It's a two-piece hybrid alloy barrel with a composite handle. It's a top-three bat for me. Very good performer and very popular. Just a great overall product.
