This CATX was purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods in Portland, OR on 8/12/2023. It was a gift following my child's 13U season, but recently learned that 14U moves to BBCOR and this bat could not be used this season. The bat has been used for BP at indoor facilities over the last 6 months. I would estimate about 250-350 swings off soft toss and front toss. It has not been used off a machine and is like new aside from typical scuffs.

CATX came out in 2023. The first gen is a white ribbon silver bat. For the second run, Marucci came out with a version called the CATX Vanta. It's a blacked-out, limited-edition. Both gens are an alloy one-piece bat, both very strong performers. They took the alloy and strength from the CAT9 and applied the balance and feel from the CAT8 to develop the CATX.
