Marucci CatX Connect

You’ve been studying your prey and now it’s time to pounce! Take this Marucci CatX Connect -11 to the dish and get ready to do some damage! Cat Bats have dominated the USSSA scene throughout the past decade and Marucci anticipates keeping it that way with the USA CatX!  Although it might seem tough to find any room for improvement from previous models, the CatX Connect includes a few new features that will take your game to the next level! For the CatX Connect -11 USA Baseball Bat, Marucci has increased the AZR Alloy barrel diameter by about 2.5mm to be closer to the maximum allowable limit.  This increase results in a more flexible barrel and higher performance! That alloy barrel is locked into the composite handle by the OLS (Outer Locking System) Connector Piece. This connection system incorporates a threaded groove that internally locks the barrel and handle together. And then they complete the connection with the external sleeve that puts an extra hold on the connection point.  The CatX Connect is also equipped with Marucci’s new S-40 Composite handle.  This handle is ~8-10% stiffer than prior Cat Connect bats, which will transfer energy faster from the batter to the ball resulting in unmatched performance! In addition, the CatX Connect includes a new custom-sized handle taper for a more ergonomic fit and improved bat control. When you take these new features and combine them with Marucci’s battle-proven AZR Alloy & Outer Locking System design, you get one insanely hot bat that is built to last! This bat has very little use. My son outgrew it before he was able to use it much.
