It was designed with a honeycomb type texture on the surface of the barrel that improves ball flight due to the texture in essence grabbing the ball on contact and enhancing backspin! Compares similar to the banned Blue Meta This bat will need a new grip fairly quick after first uses. The bat has been sitting for a while and the grip material will rub off pretty easily.
