This is Fishingboat. Well, the bat’s Christian name is Fishington B. Oatius, III, but it’s got that silver sparkle look and it slays, so we’ve always just called it Fishingboat. It’s a pretty good bat, but I recommend you look elsewhere unless you’re ready to deflect a LOT of false allegations from jealous parents, if you follow me. When my son started mowing down rec pitchers with ol’ Boaty, I just knew he was a lock for All Stars. Instead, the league implemented “random” PED testing and discussed banning USSSA bats. They didn’t have the juice to get it done though cause the other half of the parents were starting to ask questions about where they could get a bat like this. “It ain’t the arrow, it’s the Indian,” I’d tell ‘em, but the questions kept coming. People were lining up behind the backstop to watch my little dude murder baseballs with this thing. Then, things got dicey when a few of the better looking older sisters of his teammates popped pregnant. Of course, you know what the allegations were, but nobody ever proved nothing, and I figure you can’t blame all that on one bada$$ baseball bat. Nevertheless, I swear you could see a slight twinkle in their eyes for the rest of the season when my kid stepped into the box. Well, I’ve gone on too long, but I tell you all that mess to tell you this. This bat’s a lot of trouble, and maybe you’d be better off just moving on.
