The CATX Composite is a two-piece composite bat that features MDX Composite technology and a S-40 Handle. The MDX Composite barrel uses advanced aerospace-grade carbon fiber composites and proprietary resin formula. This gives the MDX barrel a multi-directional pattern that produces an ultra-responsive barrel. The S-40 Handle on the other hand is a stiffer composite handle to help transfer more energy faster from player to ball for a better performance. Marucci has also included Outer-Locking System to the CATX Composite, which is a one-of-a-kind design to create the stiffest connection available while dismissing virtually all vibrations on contact. This provides the hitter with the strongest and smoothest swing yet. A fine-tuned barrel profile creates a more balanced design, helping athletes generate faster swing speeds while maintaining the larger composite barrels.
