It is going to have the EXD Alloy on the barrel that allows the length of that barrel to extend an extra half inch. The bat will have a slight barrel load to it, but with this EXD Alloy, that load should not be too overwhelming for power hitters to handle. Also, the bat is considered by Louisville Slugger to be a three-piece model that consists of a (1) alloy barrel (2) composite handle and (3) connector piece.
