This is from when we bought this bat: "The bat is only 4months old. It has been used in 5 tournaments. It only has a few small scratches. This bat has great pop, but my son is moving up in age group and is not allowed a drop 8 bat". We honestly didn't use it that much after. Maybe 20 at bats. Not that its not a great bat- he just has too many bats. And we ended up getting a custom version of this bat.

But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
