My 12 year old used this bat for Spring 2021. He hit several 220’+ home runs with it in the season and had exit velocities over 75 mph. Now 13, he’s moved up to a -5 in the same model. The bat has ordinary wear from being used in 50+ games and was well taken care of. It is as hot as any new Cat 9. My son broke 4 Demarini Zen in Fall 2020 prior to purchasing this bat. While known as being hot, the Demarini Zen is fragile (my son cracked one in 2 weeks), especially for high swing speeds. Because it’s an alloy, the Cat 9s are extremely durable and just as hot as the Zen—they are great bats.
