Like New, can’t get much newer than this! Had to buy an emergency bat since the CF did not come in on the day it was supposed to, used only on one at bat. No cage, no practice just one at bat and tournament was cancelled due to rain. Since my son received his CF he has not touched this bat but it is a great bat, we have had many Cat before the DeMarini.

With its one-piece alloy construction and tapered handle with a soft-touch grip, batters gain better control at the plate.

The CAT8 is an older model from 2019 and a good BBCOR and USSSA bat. Very good performing bat with a sound that players love. Lightweight and easy to swing. It's probably one of the best sellers, and since the CAT8 is still available, it's perhaps one of the better bang for the buck. Prices dropped for this older model. So, it is a good match for an entry-level player on a tight budget.
