Rawlings Icon -12 USA Baseball Bat: RUS7I12 Take control of every plate appearance with the Rawlings Icon -12 USA Baseball Bat. Purpose-built for young developing athletes who need an exceptionally light swing feel to boost bat speed, this drop-12 model pairs maximum barrel responsiveness with game-changing forgiveness. Engineered for USA Baseball play, it allows quick-handed hitters to drive the ball deep into the gaps with total confidence. Bat Benefits At the center of the Icon’s unmatched pop is Rawlings' In/Tense directional carbon composite technology. Designed to lower compression across the full 2 5/8" barrel right out of the wrapper, it creates an enlarged sweet spot with zero break-in time required. Hitters get instant power and buttery-smooth feel, helping turn off-center contact into extra-base hits. To keep energy moving forward, the bat features a perfected Zero Loss connection joint linking the handle and barrel. This two-piece design optimizes flex, eliminates handle sting, and ensures no swing energy is wasted at contact. Balanced to harness natural swing speed while providing superior barrel control, this drop-12 setup is completed with a cushioned RevGrip for ultimate traction.
