Next, you'll want to take notice of the Longitudinal Groove System (LGS) that removes extra weight from the thickest part of the barrel and then allows that barrel to flex a little bit. This LGS system ultimately bumps up the performance of the ball off the bat. Overall, these two new features are wrapped up in the one-piece, all-alloy design of the CAT bats that so many players have come to love. And don't forget about the sleek, black color.

The Marucci CAT 9 features a single piece of aluminum with multivariable wall thickness, extending the sweet spot and reducing swing weight. The CAT9 features a Ring-free barrel which allows for more flex within the barrel and minimizes dead spots through the bat. This model includes new technologies like the AV2 knob to dampen sting on mishits and is available in BBCOR, USSSA, and USA versions.
