I am not the original owner of this bat but know the full history since it was my son's friend's bat. My son is now 14U requiring a -5 bat so the -8s that I own are being sold. I bought this prior to Fall ball, 2025, for use only as a BP bat and to have him become used to the heavier bat as he went into 13U baseball. The bat was used a fair amount by his friend, but rarely used by my son. Bat is in excellent condition. No cracks or rattles, I did put a new grip on it recently for this sale. I cleaned the barrel with a 'magic eraser' and the bat looks near new. Has a few scuff marks on the end of the barrel. Otherwise, a fantastic bat with alot of life and pop left. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
