Custom-Made, Hand-painted AP5 Turn Maple Wood Bat (-3) 33" 30 oz (Used)

This bat is custom-made maple AP5 turn model bat. It was purchased as an unfinished blank and hand-painted. It has a lizard screen grip and a slightly balanced to mid-load swing feel. I enjoyed the bat, but as a dad who basically only ever uses bats in the cage, this bat just sat in the bag 95% of the time, bc hitting is hard and with my limited amount of time where i am not training for anything, it’s more fun to hit with the sweet spot of my Select PWR or Clout. This bat does have juice— it’s just a much smaller sweet spot than modern BBCOR bats (which is how it’s supposed to be). The original seller buys unfinished MLB grade maple bats locally in Maine for his son. They would finish them on their own, then his son would game some of them. They claimed his son recorded exit velocity that exceeded his Victus Tatis and Louisville Slugger Ra13. In my experience on the dbat hittrax, I did reach 88 (for reference, my highest i’ve hit with a BBCOR is 93 with my clout— but 88 is higher than I’ve hit with a number of other BBCOR bats).
