Bat is in good shape with normal signs of usage. The 2023 Marucci CAT X Composite is a USSSA-certified baseball bat designed for competitive kid pitch play. It features a -8 drop weight, balancing a 28" length with approximately 20 oz weight to provide a balanced swing and good control. The 2 3/4" barrel offers a standard hitting surface size typical for youth bats, while the composite construction helps reduce vibration and improve barrel responsiveness. Its silver finish gives it a clean, straightforward look. This bat is used but remains a solid option for youth players. This bat fits players aged 9 to 13 who compete in leagues requiring USSSA certification. The -8 drop allows for better swing speed and control suitable for intermediate to advanced youth hitters aiming to develop consistent contact and timing. Its size and weight distribution suit players transitioning from lighter bats to more game-ready equipment without sacrificing maneuverability.
