About the All Star Pro Elite Baseball Glove

All Star Pro Elite Baseball Glove

Perfect glove for:

High school and adult catchers who want a steerhide mitt they break in over a season.

The All Star Pro Elite is a catcher's mitt line in Japanese-tanned US steerhide. The steerhide breaks in faster than most but still lasts for years. An extended pocket with a profiled toe makes scooping low pitches easier. The mitts ship very stiff and need an extensive break-in. All Star builds them for catchers with high school to adult hands.

Firm mitt with good pop

The glove frame has excellent firmness that allows you to consistently receive confidently at odd angles. I broke it in with yumomi, hinges formed well and without undue suffering, and the mitt maintained that firmness I’m so happy with.
