Firm mitt with good pop
The glove frame has excellent firmness that allows you to consistently receive confidently at odd angles. I broke it in with yumomi, hinges formed well and without undue suffering, and the mitt maintained that firmness I’m so happy with.

All Star Pro Elite Baseball Gloves & Mitts
The All Star Pro Elite is a catcher's mitt line in Japanese-tanned US steerhide. The steerhide breaks in faster than most but still lasts for years. An extended pocket with a profiled toe makes scooping low pitches easier. The mitts ship very stiff and need an extensive break-in. All Star builds them for catchers with high school to adult hands.
