This is a vintage 1940s/50s MacGregor/Goldsmith 1st base glove. The leather is in incredible shape for a 70-80 year old glove. So I took it all the way apart, cleaned and conditioned the leather with Fiebing’s saddle soap, and re-laced with high quality 3/16 REAL LEATHER chestnut saddle lacing. This glove is in great shape, and very playable, with. I damage in the hand stall. Just a bit of frayed binding and the name “Dick Bainbridge” in faded writing on the thumb side.
