About the Rawlings Heart of the Hide Baseball Glove

Perfect glove for:

High school and college infielders who will spend weeks shaping a glove before opening day.

The Rawlings Heart of the Hide is a steerhide baseball glove built for player break-in. Rawlings publishes a player break-in share for each model in the line. That share is how much shaping you do; the factory does the rest. R2G models arrive with more of that shaping already finished. Players who want a glove ready on day one should start there.

Amazing Glove - Great fit and smooth break in

My 11 yo has been using his Rawlings Heart of the Hide for a year now and loves it. The glove broke in faster and easier than expected. A little glove oil, lots of catch, and practice and it started to form a useable pocket. His game has really leveled up this summer. Would highly recommend.
