Mizuno Pro GMP-2000 Catchers Mitt 33.5” New no tags Right hand throw The Mizuno Pro GMP-2000 is a 33.5-inch baseball catcher’s mitt for players who want premium kip leather and time to shape their own receiving pocket. Deguchi Northern European kip provides a firm foundation that gradually forms around the hand. The hand-based pattern positions the pocket beneath the web. A two-piece closed web, conventional open back, and padded thumb slot support its catcher-specific construction, while professional-level laces hold the mitt together. Black leather, Tan laces, and contrasting stitching give it a clean appearance. Mizuno identifies a longer break-in as part of this model’s character, making it best suited to a catcher prepared to develop the mitt before game use.

Perfect glove for:

High school, college and pro players who want a stiff kip glove they shape over months.

The Mizuno Pro is Mizuno's flagship glove, built by its own craftsmen in kip leather. The exact kip varies by model, from US kip to Northern European kip. Every version ships stiff and takes a full break-in to shape. Hand-based patterns set the pocket under the web. Mizuno lists it for high school and adult hands.
