Glove Benefits The Rawlings Heart of the Hide ContoUr Funburst baseball glove is a high-performance breakthrough engineered specifically for competitive infielders looking for maximum control and a secure, close-to-the-hand feel. As a glove expert, the defining characteristic of this model is the innovative ContoUr fit system. This tailored design features narrowed finger stalls and a lowered roof inside the hand opening to eliminate excess space, making it the perfect choice for youth transition players or athletes with smaller hands who struggle with standard adult gloves. It is built on Rawlings' famous 204 pattern, offering an 11.50-inch length and standard palm width that forms the deepest pocket available, allowing the glove to naturally close from the thumb to the fourth finger and pinky for seamless ball security. Crafted from world-renowned, top-grade U.S. Steer Hide leather, this infield glove ensures a firm, long-lasting shape that retains its structure over multiple seasons of rigorous play. The backing features a cutting-edge, UV-printed Speed Shell material that dramatically reduces the overall weight of the glove while adding a sleek, modern texture. For personalized comfort on the diamond, the glove is equipped with an adjustable pull-lace wrist strap that allows you to easily customize the tightness on the fly, paired with a fully padded thumb sleeve to eliminate chafing and cushion your hand against heavy impact. For serious ballplayers seeking a durable, premium, and perfectly fitted infield weapon, this Heart of the Hide model is an elite choice.
