Vintage SSK Dimple DPG-740RS 12" Baseball / Softball Glove - Double Post Web - Cleaned / Game ready

Available here is an SSK model DPG-740RS fielder's glove (Right-Hand Throw). As a baseball / softball crossover utility, this 12" pattern features a sturdy double-post web that opens up the pocket and allows it to play noticeably larger than a standard 12" glove. See photos for details, I put both a baseball and softball in the pocket for reference. Old school red patch on the wrist, still clean & shiny. Catching Leather: Great condition. I clean every dimple with a toothbrush individually, so this thing is immaculate. Wrist Piping: The perimeter piping leather around the hand opening is a bit stiff from age, but it remains solid and intact with no severe cracking or breakdown. If you're the type of player that wears a batting glove under their fielding glove, you'll never notice. Other players might experience a short break-in period. Lacing & Interior: factory laces still intact (wrist lace replaced). Inner lining is pretty smooth, although admittedly the material doesn't photograph so well. Who It's For: A great fit for a third baseman, OF, or general utility player who likes a traditional deep pocket with strong web support. Softball Crossover: Thanks to the double-post web design that expands the pocket depth, this 12" pattern handles a softball surprisingly well, making it a nice budget-friendly option for adult/rec slowpitch. PLEASE NOTE: Any baseballs or softballs shown in the photos are for sizing and pocket-depth reference purposes only and are not included with the glove.
