The glove is in perfect game ready condition right now. You will not need to spend any time breaking in this glove, you can go right to the field and enjoy the game. The glove is made out of soft supple genuine steerhide leather. The mitt has all leather lacing, with no broken lacing. Even the piping around the glove is made out of leather. Leather piping is a feature found only in the highest quality glove like a Rawlings Heart of the hide Pro Preferred, Primo, Nokona, Wilson a2000,  Mizuno classic, world win, mvp Pro Limited. There is an adjustable leather strap on the back and there is leather straps at the thumb and pinky to allow a more custom fit.
