RH Wilson A800 "Optima" Infield Baseball Glove 11.5" (Used)

This is a super comfortable glove with a fantastic classic brown color way. This is a glove for a youth player as its a bit on the smaller size. This particular glove is well broken in and 100% ready to game. Its a 11.5 inch glove but I'd say if anything it plays a little smaller, as such I think it would work great at 2nd, Shortstop, or on the pitcher's mound - probably a bit small for third base. That said, it has a great feel - the kind where the glove just feels like its part of your hand. You know, its interesting - when my kids started playing ball, I realized that I needed a glove in order to play catch with them. Somewhere in one of the moves, my glove had disappeared. When I started looking, I realized that I didn't want to buy new glove, because there was no way I was going to be able to break it in playing catch with an 8 year old! And that made me think - what in tarnation am I buying my kid a new one for? So they can experience the confusion of dropping fly balls because their glove isn't broken in? That would be silly, so I instead I bought them used well broken in gloves and it was one of the best decision I ever made as a parent!!! Ok, now for the glove: the A800 tier is right in the middle of Wilson's line up for youth players. I mean, in my opinion, all of Wilsons "A Line" gloves are great gloves - they are just priced and designed for different needs. The A500 is a great entry level glove (MSRP $85) The A1000 is for skilled youth ballplayers from 12-18 who play competitive ball (MSRP $200) The A2000 is for elite High School players all the way to Mookie Betts. (MSRP $330) and The A2K is for rich people and Shohei Ohtani (MSRP $420) The A800 (MSRP $125) falls right in that perfect zone for players who are becoming skilled and playing in more competitive leagues but they aren't at the point that Ma and Pa are looking to shell out $250 with tax for a new glove. It hits that sweet spot of being a high quality glove that can handle more competitive play, is easy to break in and reliable.
