1993 Rawlings Heart of the Hide PRO-6BLUE 12 inch baseball glove, made in the United States from genuine blue Horween leather. The date code is AEK01, confirming 1993 production. This glove is extremely hard to find, especially in this condition. Most blue Horween Heart of the Hide gloves from this era are completely washed out. This one still retains noticeable depth of color in several areas. The hand stalls and palm are in good condition with a very nice textured feel inside. The back of the fingers show a deep, rich blue, and the inside of the palm also holds strong color, with some fading present near the pinky. There is visible fading across the glove, most notably on the thumb side and the outer shell of the thumb. This is typical for blue Horween leather from this period. Compared to most examples, this glove still has more remaining color and presents very well.
