This glove is brand new but I started the break-in process with a mallet. It is about 60% broken in - never been played with in a game and never been on field. It has been broken in with a mallet inside. I bought this for my 9 year old son and started the break in process. I ended up buying him the 11'' glove as well and we are going to play with that size. This PF "Pedroia Fit" 88 is designed for kids (i.e. small hands). The A2000 is the highest quality glove that Wilson makes. Perfect for a 9 - 13 year-old that loves baseball.
